Angela Kaufman
Angela Kaufman is an author Speaker writer, Certified Intuitive Consultant, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Activist, and Astrologer. She is an Ordained Minister as well as a Reiki and Psychic medium. Kauffman's reputation was built as an artist of portraits throughout her three-year stay in Italy. She was elected to Rome's Accademia San Luca (the Academie of Saint Luca) in 1765 was recognition of her artistic achievements. Angelica Kauffman, who spent less than 15 years in England was a major influence on the London Art Scene in the 18th century. She was the first of two women to be founding members of The Royal Academy. The artist Angelica Kauffman died on November 5th 1807 aged sixty-six. Liz created ArtLifting in November of 2013 along with her brother Spencer Powers. Liz got selected as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 as well as Boston Globe's Game Changers. Liz loves art and loves making it from old books. When she is not working, she also enjoys hiking yoga running sailing. Kauffman became acquainted with the British community of Rome after she relocated there in the beginning of January 1763. As she grew in English as well as continuing to paint portraits, a few months later the family relocated to Naples. Kauffman could study Old Masters' works and have her first work sent to an exhibition in London.
