Shawnee Smith, an American performer and musician is best known for her part in the Saw movie series. She is also called"the "scream Queen" due to the numerous horror films in which she has appeared. In addition, Shawnee is well-known for her part in the Stephen King novel 'The Stand.' She has also made guest appearances in shows such as Cagney & Lacey Married With Children, Murder, She Wrote, and... In the beginning of 2000, she was the frontwoman of the punk/metal group 'Fydolla ho', which toured both the US and UK. She formed 'Smith & Pyle", a desert-country rock duo along with Missi Pyle. They recorded their first album in Joshua Tree, It is Okay to Be Happy. They disbanded the band due to busy careers in acting and their personal lives. Shawnee is able to play a range of musical instruments, including the piano, drums and guitar. She has also performed solo on the soundtrack for 'Catacombs'.
